About The author
Tori Chaney is a self-published author of Gothic fiction, Horror, and Fantasy. She is a poet and a photography, and fancies herself somewhat of an artist. She is currently homeschooling her youngest child, whom she has nicknamed Moonstone, and her son (nicknamed Sunstone) is in second grade at a local CM style charter school. Tori enjoys drinking coffee and tea, reading all manner of books, binge watching shows on Netflix, and spending time with her two fluffy black cats (Toothless and Loki).

the story
|
The Tales of Bran and Bryn started as a way to bring her children deeper into the Waldorf education system. Bran--a boy of seven years--and Bryn--a girl of 4 to 5 years--are direct reflections of her own children. Bran wears a red cloak and Bryn wears a purple cloak (colours chosen by Sunstone and Moonstone).
The first tale was inspired largely by blogs on the internet and the book Wise Enchanter by Shelley Davidow. The Esbats and Sabbats tales are based largely on deities and the mythology behind the sacred days of many pagan paths. There are many other courses and sections that have intrigued the author to write, but none have been written down as of yet. |
